So we held a small contest on myspace….the first 10 people to message us with the words Hot Dog Stomp received a free copy of our CD. Which will officially be released in July. The CDs were shipped out yesterday, so I hope you all get them. Let us know what you think of them…good or bad, either way!

Also, Matt, our drummer who we recorded for the new record has quit the band. He’s going to focus more on other things right now. But luckily we were fortunate enough to find a quick replacement. Dan Haynes, who i’ve known for awhile now will take on the job. Hope everything works out with him, and he can handle the future touring and the white trash lifestyle we seem to live…haha

It was a good time! The Arkhams came down from New York City to play ottawa, toronto, montreal. The Ottawa show was tons of fun, thanks to the dudes at Rock and Roll Pizza Party. They put a lot of work into these things and it paid off that night. Heres a few pics from that show…check more out at our buddies blog.

Friday we played at the Cadillac Lounge…the turnout wasn’t the best, but we still had fun. Thank you van drinking! Thanks to John and Jenny for the gig, they do tons for a lot of canadian bands, and are amazing people.

Montreal was again, not the best turn out but again, we made the best of it! Got drunk and got to see a lot of people I haven’t seen in a long time…a friend of ours filmed the set, so we’ll post something from that as soon as we get it.

We are coming back to these places in July when we release our album…so let’s party again!

Hello friends…just to remind everyone, were playing tonight at the Bytowne Tavern here in Ottawa. No cover, free pizza, and The Arkhams from NYC are gonna join us. Also, Toronto on Friday at the Cadillac and Saturday at the Katacombs in Montreal…see ya there!

So for the first post i thought it would be appropriate to show you some pics of our new van that we’ll be taking this weekend to montreal and toronto. It’ll also be our home for our tour this summer…so hopefully it holds up!

it’s a 1991 (i think…) Dodge. 72000kms. and its in pretty amazing shape…picked her up in Kingston! looking forward to spending lots of time in her! heh.
